Queen Alexandra's birdwing butterfly, native to the Oro province in eastern Papua New Guinea, is the largest butterfly in the world! It is critically endangered, threatened by both habitat destruction and illegal poaching.

Another stunning pin

Another stunning pin I recently received from this shop. Flawless enamel as always, and I wish I could give an extra star just for the fact that it's a charity item.
